Maccas Is Selling "Just The Muffin Tops" & Now A 'Seinfeld' Writer Wants A Billion Dollars For The Idea

You may remember The Muffin Tops episode of Seinfeld, where Elaine comes up with the idea of selling just the muffin tops because no one likes the stumps of the muffin.

Now, McDonald's believe she may have been on to something, with muffin tops now being added to the US McCafé menu.

Unfortunately for them, word has gotten back to Seinfeld writer Spike Feresten, who has said that he wants compensation for coming up with the concept 20 years ago.

He's posted a video directed at Maccas, asking for a cool billion dollars...or, at the very least a podcast sponsorship.

"What took so long? This episode was written 21 years ago."

We wonder if he'll get the compensation he's looking for...
