Luna Park

It’s not quite Halloween in Sydney without a visit to Luna Park!

This October, the amusement park will be hosting the EIGHTH instalment of its Halloscream event, this year titled Halloscream 8: Infinite Fear.

Over six nights, Luna Park will transform into a frightful “Halloween nightmare after dark.”

This year, the event will feature three brand-new Scare Mazes in the Big Top.

The Outback Butcher (NOPE) maze will see an evil landlord on the hunt for his next victim. The DecayMart maze (great name) is themed around an abandoned supermarket that’s been taken over by zombies. While the last maze, Block 13, sees inmates on the loose in a rioting prison!

At 6pm each night, a special ‘Scaremony’ will be hosted where visitors will be asked to “watch out for the villain puppet master Mr Bowler; the former famed marionette maker who found his passion making dolls, and is on the hunt for new subjects to coerce into his puppet show of horrors.”

NO THANKS.

As for the iconic Coney Island, the area will be transformed into ‘Lonely Doll Island’

“Home to a grief-stricken father who has struggled to find peace since his wife and daughter’s death; he has since started patching together body parts with dolls to create a new version of his daughter. Enjoy her doll house…”

On top of all this, visitors will meet roaming zombies, pig heads and prisoners around the grounds, while tickets will include Unlimited Rides throughout the park

Halloween costumes and wicked make-up looks are strongly encouraged, however full-face make up or coverings will not be permitted. Guests must ensure they remain identifiable.

Organisers have assured a highly precautionary approach will be taken towards managing the spread of COVID-19. Masks are mandatory attire in Halloscream Mazes and must be worn at all times during this attraction.
