It can be hard trying to find things to keep the kids occupied, active little minds and bodies always wanting to do something, would you like the burden of finding new ways to keep the kids busy taken off you - enter Grand Central.

The centre has a variety of children’s activities to help ease your pain.

Check these out:

Story Time with Cleo the Clown – March 18 and April 29

Join Cleo the Clown at Grand Central’s Community Book Swap on Level 1 outside Myer and Australian Skin Clinics for Story Time.  Cleo’s story times bring to life important life topics such as dental care, road safety and remembering your manners through the use of puppets, props, music and movement.  Session times: 10.30am-10.50am; 11.00am-11.20am; 11.30am-11.50am; and 12.00pm-12.20pm. 

 

Making Rainbows – Music & Movement Class – March 20 + April 3, 10am-12pm

Visit Grand Central’s Tiny Town on Level 2 near Harper Bee and join in the Making Rainbows music and movement program. 

This program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework for children from birth to five years. 

Making Rainbows chooses props and resources carefully to ensure that every part of the lesson is purposeful and beneficial to each child, whether it be for fine motor development (finger rhymes, instrument play), gross motor development (balancing on balls, hula hoops) or school readiness behaviours (sharing, taking turns, greeting/farewell songs). 

Workshops will be held between 10am-12pm, and the cost is $5.  Book your tickets through Eventbrite.

 

Cookie Monster and Elmo Show – March 27, 9.30am-12pm

Join Cookie Monster & Elmo for two shows at 9.30am and 11.30am on March 27, and a meet & greet at 10.30am in Centre Court.
