Locals commemorate International Day of People Living with a Disability!
Council hosting local event!
A spotlight shining on those living with a disability in our region this week, locals officially celebrating International Day of People with a Disability.
Mildura Rural City Council will be hosting an afternoon of activities at Nowingi Place this afternoon, celebrating the valuable role people with disabilities play in the community.
This year's theme focuses on "Empowering persons with disabilities and ensuring inclusiveness and equality".'
Locals are set to enjoy entertainment, a barbecue and a host of activities on the day - with representatives from Sunraysia's service providers also on hand at the event.
The day will run from 4 pm to 7 pm this afternoon (MONDAY 03-12-18)
