Locals Are Campaigning To Keep The Sov Hotel Running
The nightclub is for sale
Townsville's Sarah Saunders fears that the sale of the Sov will have a negative impact on our LGBTIQ community, so she's doing whatever she can to keep the nightclub running.
The night hot spot has been bringing the good times for nearly 20 years, but is now on the market for over $3 million.
Sarah is concerned that the buyer may change the purpose of the rainbow building, and has created a Facebook page where you can support the cause.
Sarah's end goal is to purchase the Sov and preserve it as the club it has become famous for.
