This morning on the show, Bronte & Sam were joined by local community ambassador for R U OK? Day, who spoke about the importance of the day, tips on starting a difficult conversation and the meaning behind this year's theme of Trust the Signs, Trust your Gut.

R U OK? DAY is a national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone to ask, “Are you OK?” and to remember every day of the year to support people who may be struggling with life’s ups and downs.

Karen shared with Bronte & Sam how R U OK DAY? came about and how you can get involved right here in Griffith!

Locally, the R U OK? DAY community breakfast is on again at Peeches Coffee Lounge, Griffith. You can head down between 7:30am-9:30am on Thursday, September 12 for a scrumptious meal and great conversation.

Karen explained what it means to Trust the Signs, Trust your Gut and how you can take action for the people around you.
