A Lake Macquarie couple are sitting pretty after pocketing over a million dollars in Saturday night's lotto.
The pensioners were surprised with the news this morning after picking up the winning ticket from a newsagent in Jewells last week.
"It’s life changing...We’ve both worked hard all our lives. It just means we won’t have to worry about any finances" the man said.
A holiday and a new home is said to be on the cards for the pair thanks to their newly acquired funds.
They're one of four division one winners across Australia.
