Some locals have expressed concerns over the proposed store saying the hardware giant will kill off small business.

This comes after reports that the hardware retailer is looking at spending $15 million to build on the edge of town along Walter Road.

While some locals have their concerns others are welcoming the news that Bunnings might be coming to Kingaroy, saying that it will help encourage more competitive pricing and better customer service from small local businesses.
