Indonesian Law Expert Reckons We Don't Need To Sweat The Bali Bonk Ban
But is it enough to stop you from going?
In case you missed it, Indonesia have rushed through some laws with one in particular raising the ire of many Aussies.
Basically, it's become illegal to have sex with someone other than your husband or wife.
We could sense the feeling of a million Bintangs being dropped in universal horror so to clear up what this potentially means to Aussies thinking of visiting Bali, as the best example, we got Professor Tim Lindsey on the show, who's one of Australia’s leading experts on Indonesian law.
Basically, whilst he thinks the law is a regression, he's confident that Aussie tourists will be okay.
However, he did suggest that there are a few groups who will potentially have an issue with this new law.
"This is less of a worry for tourists, although technically you could be caught, I suppose,
"More of a worry for gay and lesbian Indonesians actually."
