UPDATE: Two teenagers have been charged over a dramatic burglary at Biggera Waters, where they allegedly stole two cars and led police on a pursuit across the Gold Coast.

A 19-year-old man from Southport was arrested at Keebra Park at around 4.30am on Wednesday after the vehicle he was in came to stop.

He was charged with burglary and commit indictable offence, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, contravene direction and two counts each of armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

While police also located a 17-year-old boy at Southport around 9.30am, accused of driving a stolen Mazda 3.

He was charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle and receiving tainted property.

EARLIER: The hunt continues for a man wanted over a home invasion and burglary at Biggera Waters, after another man was arrested.

The pair are accused of entering a South Quay Drive home just before 2am on Wednesday, before using a knife to threaten the residents and demand cash and car keys.

They escaped with a sum of cash and two cars, and were tracked by police across the Gold Coast.

It's believed one of the vehicles eventually came to a stop at Keebra Park when it rolled into a school fence around 4.30am before the engine burst into flames.

The man inside was arrested without further incident, while a second man remains at large.
