Police are hoping to reunite a heap of stolen property with its original owners after discovering a huge haul at a home in Cessnock.

Officers seized a range of suspected stolen goods from a property in Alkira Avenue this week including clothing, razors, cosmetics and batteries all in new condition, two safes, new hand held power tools, jewellery, spot lights, a trail camera and two laptop computers.

A 38-year-old man arrested property and later charged.

Police say he was allegedly found in possession of a welder and two vacuum sealed packets of meat, all of which were recently stolen from a Kurri Kurri retail store.
