There are many places around town who are making the most of the occasion and these are a few to keep your eye on…

1. Zero Gradi & Bistro Morgan

These two Melbourne favourites have come together to create the ‘Bistronought Gelato’. Expect fluffy, fried chunks of doughnut mixed in with caramel and cinnamon gelato. You’ll find it topped with a Bistro Morgan mini caramel doughnut and finished with oozing Nutella.

2. Doughnut Time

These guys are known across Australia so it’s no wonder they are going big… and a little sassy. For example, if you’re one of the first 100 people to bring a doughnut from another store to Doughnut Time, they’ll trade it for a deluxe flavour. Dessert fanatics will also want to try their new ‘Tim Tam Time’ addition which is only available over the long weekend.

3. Goldeluck’s Doughnuts

If you’re planning to load up on as many doughnuts as you can, you may want to check out Goldeluck’s all-you-can-eat buffet. Available on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th, you can fill your plate with as many as you please as well as enjoy bottomless milkshakes – and it’s all for $22!

4. Krispy Kreme

This worldwide chain will break records when they give away 100,000 original glazed doughnuts in Australia alone. Make sure you eye-off your nearest location.
