Support Ruby During Her Double Lung Transplant
Help parents Mel and Robbie support their daughter Ruby through this difficult time. Ruby was diagnosed in August 2009 with a rare condition called Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension at the age of 8. About 1% of people globally have this. Ruby has suffered a difficult road since being diagnosed, and now must undergo a double lung transplant when lungs become available. Call out for Volunteers - 2023 Variety XMAS Party Newcastle
Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT is calling out to the community to help spread joy and magical memories for Newcastle kids and families this festive season. This year’s Variety Kids Xmas Party is at McDonald Jones Stadium on December 7th. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities including Gift Bump – In Volunteer, Event Bump In and Décor Volunteer and Activities Volunteer. LIVEfree Project
LIVEfree Project, a Newcastle-based non-profit organization, is reaching out to you for urgent support. We need your assistance to sustain our life-saving initiative, the Brighter Beginnings Bus Program, and to find dedicated volunteer bus drivers who can help us make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children. Your support will enable us to continue providing this simple yet life-saving service to children who are dealing with trauma, home instability, and food scarcity. Free Art Sunday at Maitland Regional Art Gallery
Free art Sunday activities for kids of all ages, as a family you can join and get creative! Each activity takes around half an hour to complete. Staffed by Art tutors.
