We don’t want to alarm anyone… but it’s part of the human body… shocking, we know.
The whole performance was perfect in so many ways, we literally don’t have the time to type it all out. They stole the show with their on-point vocals, their sassy AF moves, and to-die-for outfits.
Lisa and Jess Origliasso decided to recreate their In My Blood single cover for the performance, but this time with red pants and red glitter covering the rest of their bodies…
But for some bizarre reason half of Australia had a bit of an issue with this whole being ‘topless’ thing.
Please hold on for a moment while we rage.

Okay.
We aren’t too sure why this has become a thing?
Every single person in this world has the right to express themselves in the way that they feel. We each have the right to own the person we are.
The reaction to their performance is the exact reason why society needs to change.
We should be supporting people like Lisa and Jess who ALWAYS put others first. They constantly use their power to help others, push for self acceptance, making a difference and creating awareness for many issues that we face in today’s society.
For some reason, it's okay for male artists to perform on stage without a shirt on… it's okay for men to go to the beach without a shirt on… or even to the shops?
Why is it so different for females?
We're sorry but it is 2017, we need to wake up a little.
This isn’t the first time that The Veronicas have been attacked, slammed, and body shamed for their outfit choices.
In August, 2016, the girls called out a website for their article written about Jess. The article was written after she uploaded a very normal photo of herself on stage at the Northwest Festival in W.A.
This headline accompanied the article.
Lisa recently posted about how fed up she is of the constant attacking they receive for their "very small frame."
And of course we can’t forget about the famous shopping list that went viral when an online user body shamed the girls saying, “OMG! EAT SOMETHING FOR CRYING OUT LOUD… I’ll pay for the food.”
So of course, they then sent him their grocery list.
The Veronicas are two of Australia’s most talented artists and their ARIAs performance was perfection.
We think it’s about time that Australia started to support each other and look a little deeper into things and realise that everyone has a story to tell... and that everyone is beautiful.
Yes even you.
We are so lucky that we have artists like Lisa and Jess to look up to.
