Bronte & Sam were joined by Miracle Babies Foundation CEO & Co-Founder, Kylie Pussell, to chat about the new research indicating parents have experienced increased parental anxiety due to COVID-19 and the support services available.

This Miracle Month of May, Miracle Babies Foundation is encouraging Australians to join their Mission for Miracles and donate small, regular amounts to support their continued vital work for families of premature babies every year. Here are some stats:

• Over 48,000 babies will be born premature or sick this year causing an increased risk of post-natal depression for parents of premature children

• New research reveals four in five parents of premature or sick children have experienced an increase in parental anxiety due to COVID-19

With parents of premature babies already at an increased risk of post-natal depression, The Miracle Babies NurtureLine is continuing to stay open to support parents with premature or sick babies in neonatal intensive care units and special care nurseries, as well as delivering their usual face-to-face support via online platforms.
