Heidi Breaks Down In Tears As She Farewells The Show

Today was Heidi’s last show before going on parental leave for a number of months.

We haven’t known a hit929 breakfast show without her for a very, very long time, so this morning, naturally we were all feeling VERY EMOTIONAL.

To send our soon-to-be mama off, we surprised Heidi with a special phone call from Griff, before Xavier and Pete both gave her their own touching speeches.

Obviously, Heidi was in tears straight away, opening up about how difficult she has found this pregnancy.

“This has been one of the hardest thing’s I’ve ever gone through… I’m sh* scared,” she opened up.

“You’ve been a rock for me,” she told Xav through tears.

“We don’t speak like this to each other because he doesn’t get too emotional, but it’s actually been a joy and you’ve kept me really happy over the last few months.”
