This morning on the show, Bronte & Sam spoke to Richard Gemmo, who lost his nephew Nathan in an accident in May 2015. As a result of the accident, he was an organ donor and gave the gift of life to those in desperate need, which has inspired Jersey Day across the country.

Richard told Bronte & Sam about the campaign and wants to encourage schools and workplaces across Australia to allow students and employees to wear their favourite sporting jersey to school or work to show their support for the DONATE LIFE network.

Jersey Day is nationwide on Friday, August 30 and you're encouraged to wear your favourite sporting jersey to school or work to begin the conversation with your friends and family about organ donation.
