Anyone travelling on the M7 is in for a rough trip home this evening, with the road closed at Hinchinbrook.
A car fire on the approach to Cowpasture Road is causing difficulties.
Southbound motorists are advised to depart the motorway at The Horsley Drive or Elizabeth Drive.
The M7 can be re-joined via Cowpasture Road.
There are currently queues of 7km in southbound traffic, with northbound traffic also banked up 4km.
Anyone planning on travelling in this direction is advised to be careful and allow plenty of travel time.
