Hailey Bieber Recreates Princess Diana’s Famous Style Moments

Hailey Bieber’s latest photoshoot has been met with both praise and outrage as the supermodel has recreated famous images of Princess Diana days before the anniversary of the late royal’s death.

In her latest photoshoot with Vogue Paris, Hailey recreated the photos and style moments, stating that she has looked to Princess Diana for style inspiration her entire life.

“All credit and inspo to the amazingly beautiful and iconically stylish Princess Diana who I’ve looked to for style inspiration for as long as I can remember. Thank you for leaving behind such an iconic fashion and style legacy,” she wrote on Instagram. 

Some have fallen completely in love with Hailey’s tribute to the Diana, with one Twitter user writing, “I was never a fan of Hailey Bieber until NOW. She is absolutely killing it in each and every photo, serve that Princess Diana vibe gal👏🏼”

Another posted, “Hailey Bieber’s Princess Diana Vogue shoot is so effortlessly perfect.”

But others have labelled the shoot as insensitive and slammed its timing just days before the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.

“It’s weird to copy the photographs taken by paparazzi considering she died trying to freaking get away from them,” one Twitter user commented.

Another replied, “The key biting pic is not even close. Princess Diana is obviously busy and trying to get something done/get somewhere.. you can feel the energy. Hailey looks like she’s hung over and has a twizzler stuck in her mouth.”

Whether you think the shoot is in good taste or not, this is yet another reminder that Princess Diana was a fashion icon, as well as being the warm “People's Princess”.
