Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre To Open This October!

We finally have a date! The $31 million Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre will officially open on October 26, nearly a year behind schedule.
Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing CentreThe first general public swimmers will be able to dive in on October 27 and take advantage of all the centre has to offer.
The cause of the setback was due to a wet winter in 2016, which pushed the project from December 2017 to mid-2018/
The $31 million centre will have wellness suites, all-abilities exercise pool with warm water and an access ramp and program rooms.
The project is well on its way to be completed, with the installation of the pool deck, change rooms and more.

There will also be a indoor splash park tower, which is set to be a hit for the kids! Also, parking won't be an issue - there's set to be 104 new car park spaces available.
The pool operator, Belgravia Leisure are in the process of hiring staff across different areas - swimming teachers, duty managers, lifeguards and more.
