Gold Coast woman charged over brutal assault of 4yo girl
Victim left with fractures and bruising
A woman has been charged after a four-year-old girl suffered facial fractures and severe bruising in an alleged assault at a Gold Coast home.
The 21-year-old woman was arrested by detectives from the Gold Coast Child Protection and Investigation Unit.
Police won't confirm if the woman is the girl's mother, only the pair is known to each other.
The woman will face Southport Magistrates Court on March 24, charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
