Halloween is almost here and across Sydney there are lots of spooky events, food and fun to be had for the whole family.

Take a a look at some of our favourites: 

Halloscream at Luna Park

From the 29th October to 1st November, Luna Park will morph into one of Sydney’s best and scariest events for Halloween.

Get ready to scream as you weave your way through three bloodthirsty, horrific (but fun) mazes. With names like Outback Butcher, DecayMart and Block 13, prepare to be scared! As you walk around the park, you will run into creepy characters and the best part of all, you get unlimited rides all night!!!

Halloween Croctail Pop-Up Bar

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo are creating a ‘Croctail Bar’ over two weekends: 29-31 October and 5-7 November.

You can sip on a cocktail sitting next to their Saltwater Croc Rock, where just a piece of sturdy glass will separate you from this adorable, 4-metre-long, 365kg beast! Tickets are only $15 per person which includes tapas and drinks, a rare hands-on reptile encounter plus company from Rocky the Croc!

$5 from each ticket sold will be donated to their Wildlife Conversation Fund supporting animal research, conservation and welfare. Buy your tickets here!

The Wizard's Den

The Wizard's Den: Sydney Semester II is open for enrolment!

Over the course of 2 hours, you will be taught by Morticia le Mort in the art of potion-making. You will create your own cocktails, drink them, learn magic and have a good laugh! You’ll walk out with a witchcraft trick or two. Get your robe ready and book now!

Sunset Drive-In Cinema Ku-Ring-Gai

St Ives Showground has transformed with Sunset Drive-In Cinema Ku-Ring-Gai.

To celebrate Halloween, the cinema is showing two of the scariest movies ever. First up, you will watch the O.G. Scream, then The Blair Witch Project all in the comfort of your car!

You can feast on all the movie essentials with fresh popcorn, ice cream and snacks from Le Van. Caminito. Plus, Miss Mabels is serving loaded fries, chorizo pork rolls, burgers and bowls so you won’t go hungry. Buy tickets here!


Halloween Family Fest At The Entertainment Quarter

This weekend, the EQ gets transformed into a ghostly graveyard!

There will be rides, showbags, heaps of games and craft activities, a disco, doggie talent shows, costume comps and yummy food! Once the sun goes down the open-air cinema fires up showing family friendly Halloween movies. Find out more info here!

Taronga Boo At The Zoo

On Saturday 31st October, from 5:30pm-8:30pm, Taronga Zoo will have the wildest Halloween event. Dress up the family and see what the animals get up to once the sun goes down!

The Zoo will light up with creepy crawly spider lanterns, you can feast on ghoulish treats and enjoy several Halloween inspired presentations involving birds, seals and spiders - how cute!

Penrith Halloween Night Market

Penrith’s fav markets get spooky with two huge nights of family fun on Friday and Saturday.

From rides, food trucks, market stalls and plenty of crazy characters, there is something for everyone. There will also be a best dressed comp, so get your costumes ready plus a Halloween treasure hunt for the kids! Head to Penrith Paceway from 5pm-10pm.

Halloween meets Day of the Dead at SoCal Neutral Bay!

This restaurant is famous for dishing up Sydney’s best tacos and from Friday to Monday, you can sip your way through Halloween with their special Dia De Los Muertos cocktail menu.

Now this is the kind of spooky celebration we like! Taste Margarita Sangrieta (the Bloody Mary), Blood Orange Paloma and Spicy Watermelon Margarita. You won’t want to miss this spooky yet tasty surprise!

Scary Taste Baguette

The team over at Taste Baguette isn’t scared of an over-the-top cocktail and just for Halloween, their team has created a selection of one-off creepy cocktail concoctions for $12, including: a Spiced Bloody Mary, Witches’ Brew and a Zombi-tini! There are also themed shots including the Alien, the Zombie Brain and the Brain Haemorrhage. Taste them at your peril.

Spooky Dress Up Photo Booth At Hachi 

And for our furry friends who love a bit of a dress-up, premium dog boutique and spa, Hachi, will have a Halloween themed photo booth and dog café for you to snap your doggo embracing the annual holiday.
