Suspicious Gagebrook house fire

Structure Fire at Laurence Place, Gagebrook

Around 2:40am this morning, Friday the 3rd of March, Tasmania Fire Service and Tasmania Police were called to a structure fire at Laurence Place, Gagebrook.

This is the third structure fire at this residence in the past month.

This fire has been deemed suspicious and is being investigated by the Bridgewater CIB. Damage is estimated at $140,000. The residence is privately owned.

These types of incidents are dangerous for the emergency service workers who attend and for local residents.
