From Captain To Coach, JT On The Side Lines As 'Play Making Coach'

Johnathan Thurston may have hung up his footy boots, but he won't be far from the field next season. 

JT will be on the Cowboys sidelines in 2019 as the Play Making Coach, with plans being sifted out among Cowboys camp as we speak. 

The soon-to-be father of 4 will meet with Cowboys Footy Manager Peter Parr soon to nut out the finer details. 

JT has always said how much he loves his Townsville lifestyle, so it's no surprise that he is staying in Cowboys colours for the 2019 season and we're sure he'll have plenty of advice for players in his mentor role. 

The 35-year-old is currently doing his 'JT LIVE' tour, visiting Melbourne, Gold Coast, and Toowoomba this weekend.
