What a weekend in the world of politics and Australian history. And although we, as a nation, handled the change better than most of us handled the plastic bag ban in supermarkets, there was still A LOT of drama over the weekend, including a leaked WhatsApp group screenshot revealing a colleague’s betrayal of Julie Bishop.
Flick & Tim had Alex Tselios from The Big Smoke on the show to recap the weekend’s scandals and dish out some facts on the new PM Scott Morrison.

Most surprising of all was the high school pettiness of a leaked screenshot from a WhatsApp group including a number of liberal MPs, which exposed the betrayal of one of Julie Bishop’s colleagues.
The embarrassment that followed the contents of the screenshot caused Julie Bishop to resign as Minister for Foreign Affairs, with Marise Payne taking over her portfolio and Josh Frydenberg being named treasurer.
