Police have busted a large-scale drug supply ring operating across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.
Detectives from Strike Force Castlestead arrested two men at a service station on Gateway Boulevarde in Morriset yesterday afternoon, before allegedly uncovering a commercial quantity of what's believed to be cocaine and cash.
The arrests led to a series of search warrants being executed at homes in Cameron Park, Mayfield, Wangi Wangi and Rose Bay in Sydney.
Police say more drugs, cash and a clandestine drug lab was discovered during the operation.
The group - aged between 28 and 40 - have all been charged with drug-related offences and refused bail.
Investigations continue with further arrests expected.
