Firefighters Trying To Contain Blacktown Scrap Metal Blaze

Firefighters are currently battling a blaze in Sydney's west, with a large fire developing on a pile of scrap metal.

The incident is currently unfolding on Tattersall Road, Blacktown.

More than 40 firefighters are working to contain it and prevent the fire from spreading.

According to Fire and Rescue NSW, an aerial truck is being used to battle the blaze.

There are also 15 fire trucks at the scene.
