Last night's Federal Budget has major commitments to infrastructure in regional Australia.

Overall $20 billion dollars worth of rail projects have been announced across the country.

The Government will hand over $8.4 billion dollars for an inland fright rail line from Melbourne to Brisbane.

The announcement of a National Rail Program will improve service connection between capital cities and the bush, aiming to bolster regional economies through easy access to jobs, health and housing.
