A motorcyclist has died following a crash at Thornlea, east of Beachport in the South-East yesterday afternoon.

Just after 4pm on Sunday 25 November, Millicent and Kingston police were called to the corner of the Beachport-Penola Road and Wire Paddock Road after a motorist came across the scene of a motorcycle crash.

The rider, a 63-year-old man from Mt Gambier unfortunately died at the scene.

Major Crash Investigators flew from Adelaide to the crash site to determine how the incident occurred.

The man's death brings the State's road toll to 69 compared to 89 at the same time last year.
