Elderly Man Charged Over Fatal Stabbing At Merrylands

A man has been charged over the fatal stabbing of his wife at Merrylands.
Police report the 73-year-old handed himself into police just after 10pm on Monday night, before officers attended their home on Leigh Street, where they found the body of a 63-year-old woman.
He's been charged with murder and was denied bail, to face court later today.
