Dogs Can Sense Bad People, So If They Don't Like Someone, Say Goodbye!
‘I can see bad people’
You know all those times your doggo didn’t get along with someone you were friends with?
Even though you thought the world of the person, your dog wasn’t having any of it, and eventually that friendship fell apart b̶e̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶w̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶s̶h̶*̶t̶ ̶p̶e̶r̶s̶o̶n̶.
Well, we all knew that we should have listened to our dog from the get go and now, science is supporting the theory that dogs can sense bad people!
Studies have shown that dogs take note of people who are unkind in any way to their owner and will then hold a grudge against them. One study, published in Neuroscience and Biobehavioural Reviews, revealed that dogs wouldn’t take treats from someone who refused to help their owner with tasks.
Other studies have shown that dogs can smell chemical changes in people’s pheromones that indicate they have bad intentions, therefore signalling the dog that they’re a ‘bad’ person.
Not only this, but a person’s brain chemistry changes when they’re angry and dogs can smell that too, which signals them to see the person as a threat.
The only exception appears to be psychopaths… because they don’t experience many emotions, changes in their brain chemistry are rare and not sensed by doggos…
The obvious solution to this is keeping your dog close and putting everyone through an intense screening test before letting them into your life.
So, next time your doggo is getting bad vibes from someone, send that someone out the door!
Doggo before everyone else.
