Disney Has Released The Very First Trailer For Their Live-Action ‘Mulan’
She'll bring honour to us all!
Wow Disney is good.
After making a TONNE of money with Avengers: Endgame, the company quickly shifted their marketing focus to the live-action remake of Aladdin, but before it even left cinemas, advertising for Toy Story 4 was plastered across every marketable space possible.
But wait, forget that too, because now The Lion King is on it’s way with new promotional posters and teasers being released every day.
Sorry, hold up once again, forget The Lion King before it’s even hit cinemas, because today, Disney has released the very first trailer for Mulan!
In this first teaser, we see Mulan’s family describe the traits of a perfect bride - quite, composed, graceful, disciplined - which also happen to be qualities valued in a good fighter.
We see actress Yifei Liu as both a young woman preparing for marriage, as well a fearless warrior fighting to protect China.
Take a look:
It looks so good!!!
As you can see, this first trailer focusses on the serious side of the story rather than the humour and music fans also love.
So, we’re hoping to see more of that (especially Mushu!) in the lead up to its release.
Disney has stated the film is based on the 1998 animated hit, as well as the original narrative poem ‘The Ballad of Mulan’.
Mulan is scheduled to hit Australian cinemas in March, 2020.
