Crime Scene Set Up After Suspicious Labrador House Fire

Fire investigators have headed back to the scene of a house fire in Labrador overnight.

A crime scene was established at the abandoned property on Government Road, which went up in flames sometime around 7pm on Thursday night.

Neighbours reported seeing thick smoke coming from the home and called emergency services.

No one was inside at the time and fire crews took around 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control.

However it was completely destroyed.

The fire was being treated as "suspicious".
