April Fool’s Day has come and gone for yet another year and while most of the hoaxes were outed as exactly that, one of the ‘jokes’ turned out to NOT be a joke!
Heinz teased a weird and wacky new product, Creme Egg-Flavoured Mayonnaise, and it’s actually legit!
Cadbury and Heinz teamed up for the one-of-a-kind Heinz [Seriously] Good Cadbury Creme Egg Mayo that blends the goo of a creme egg and chunky milk chocolate with mayo.
It’s not up everyone’s alley… but after releasing it as a prank last April Fool’s, they decided to make it real this year.
Martina Davis, Brand Manager of Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise, revealed, “We're delighted to launch the world's first-ever Creme Egg Mayo, just in time for Easter. And very happy to report that it's absolutely DELICIOUS. A real taste adventure. The only question we're asking ourselves is why we haven't done it sooner?!"
While the item IS on the market, it’s only for a short time and only available in London…

A Heinz X Cadbury Creme Egg pop-up installation is being held at Ely's Yard, Truman Brewery in London from 11-13 April: 11am-8pm on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 April, and 11am-4pm on Saturday 13 April.
