Cowboys Forward Scott Bolton Given 12 Month Good Behaviour Bond
Player pleads guilty to common assault
31-year-old Cowboys veteran Scott Bolton has pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman at a Bondi bar last year.
The incident happened in May when the forward allegedly grabbed a 49-year-old woman’s upper thigh.
He was in a Waverley court this morning facing an indecent assault charge, but prosecutors dropped the charge after Bolton pleaded guilty to common assault instead.
A club statement said that the Court has accepted there was no indecent conduct nor violence on his part.
The court handed down a 12-month good behaviour bond.
The club said Bolton will make a statement in due course.
