Currently isolating in Tasmania, Perth Wildcats captain (Jesse Wagstaff) speaks with Pete, Matt and Kymba about how COVID has affected the team and upcoming games.

"It's been pretty crazy actually, the first year Covid was kind of a thing and we kind of just escaped it"

"Now it's obviously ramping up."

Jesse confirms that over 13 players have tested positive, with some copping it worse than others.

"Most guys are pretty good, some guys have more severe symptoms than others"

"I got it quite lightly I think."

Due to the current outbreak, the NBL have rescheduled future games with the Wildcat's scheduled to play next Tuesday. Jesse explains that the team is eager to get back into shape and play out the season.

"There was a bit of lack in the season so hopefully they can pump some games in pretty quickly. I mean we've been on the road for maybe 3 weeks now and played one game."
