Council Give the Green Light for Darling Heights Housing Development

The Toowoomba Council has given the green light for a new housing development despite concerns about the land being challenging to develop.

Work will ramp up soon at Darling Heights to build single dwelling houses on 25 subdivided lots.

Toowoomba councilors voted 9-2 in favour of the development.

Planning Officer Mary Partridge has said that the natural terrain of the site means it will be challenging to develop for urban use.

However, it’s all systems ‘go’ for the Darling Heights development.
