Con Artists Targeting Stores In Lake Mac

The hunt is on for a group of con artists who've been targeting shopping centres and fast food outlets in Lake Macquaire. 

Pairs of people have been approaching female employees, arguing with them in hopes of creating confusion and getting staff to hand over money from the register. 

Police believe stores in Charlestown, Morisset, Swansea and Wyee have been targeted over the past month or so. 

Detectives believe the group has been using a silver Holden Commodore with Victorian registration plates.
