Sixty major organisations have made a pact to reduce plastic waste in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific by 2025.

Supermarket chains and multinational brands are among the dozens of organisations joining forces to eliminate unnecessary packaging and make all packaging reusable and recyclable.

Ramping up the war on waste supermarket giants Coles and Woolworths, as well as brands like Nestle and Coca Cola have signed up to the ANZPAC Plastic Pact pledging to dramatically reduce the amount of plastic waste they produce.

Three years in the making the ANZPAC Plastic Pact will change the way we shop as major changes across the entire supple chain come together to reduce plastic waste and landfill across Australia and the region.

Australia currently produces in excess of 800,000 tonnes of plastic waste ending up in landfill or the environment every year.
