It’s time to officially welcome Townsville’s cutest, tiniest bundles of joy!
Parents can now register their beautiful babies for the next Welcoming Babies Ceremony.
Community and Cultural Development Committee chair Cr Colleen Doyle said parents should register soon as the Ceremony is so popular sessions could book out.
She also said it’s “a beautiful way for parents and their families to celebrate the birth of their newest family member.”
Each baby receives a welcoming certificate, a plant and a gift bag.
There’ll be free family fun on the day, including a professional photographer and great stalls and displays.
Babies must be 13 months old or younger at the time of the ceremony to be registered.
Register now for the Welcoming Babies Ceremony at the council’s website with three ceremonies to choose from - 9am, 10.15am or 11.30am.
It’s all happening at the Townsville Stadium on Sunday June 25 – but hurry registrations close Friday, June 9 at 5pm.
