Obviously, COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the Australian economy, forcing local businesses to close their doors and cutting off most interstate travel, taking away tourism and affecting businesses and regions, which are largely reliant on the continuous flow of tourism.
This has prompted an outpouring from business owners, pleading with Queensland politicians to open their borders and to once again allow tourism to flow throughout the country, in the hopes this will breathe new life into the Australian economy.
