Brisbane Fruit & Veg Wholesaler Is Givng Away Free Packages To Needy QLDers

Well known Brisbane-based suppliers of fruit and vegetables, Simon George & Sons, have announced they are providing about 100 care packages of produce a week to those in need during the current Coronavirus outbreak.

The cases of free food, including eggs, bananas, apples and avocados, are being give out by Simon George team members in daily deliveries to homes.

Principal of the company, Ben George told press “We are providing the cases of fresh food to help those who have lost their jobs, older people and those confined to their homes as part of a national effort to get through this health and economic crisis."

“”It is a time for all Australians and companies to step up to help those in need and we intend to continue our giveaways until this crisis ends."

Boxes may vary but they will likely include the following:

• 3 x tomato
• 3 x apple
• 3 x potato
• 3 x carrot
• 2 x avocado
• 1 x cucumber
• Bananas
• Lettuce
• Juice
• Eggs
