RMS urged to act of deadly intersection

This is Sally McNab. On Tuesday, with her whole life still ahead of her, the 20 year old from San Remo and long time member of the Kanwal-Warnervale Rovers Football Club was tragically taken from the family and friends who loved her so much.

The car Sally was driving along the Motorway Link struck another vehicle that was turning right out of Blue Haven Way, spinning out of control into the path of another car that slammed into it's side. Sally didn't stand a chance. Her passenger is still fighting for her life in hospital.

The accident has angered the local community, which has been fighting for safety improvements since the new Aldi supermarket and medical centre was first given the go ahead. They bought much needed services and jobs, but also more traffic.

In the last 2 months, 2 people have died at this now notorious intersection.

Wyong MP and Shadow Minister for the Central Coast David Harris has called on Roads and Maritime Services to act immediately, before yet another family has to go through unimaginable grief.

The State Government body insists a 'review' is already underway.
