Big Search Operation Underway To Rescue Missing Swimmer At Bondi

In breaking news, a search is underway for a missing swimmer on the south end of Bondi Beach.

A man in blue shorts was last seen entering the water at 11.30am this morning, with Westpac's search and rescue helicopter dropping high-intensity dye into the water to help track the current in the area.

It's been a rough morning at sea, with the water particularly choppy and lots of rips off Bondi.

PolAir, Marine Area command and Bondi Lifeguards are also joining the operation to find the missing swimmer.
