Beyonce And Jay-Z Accepted A BRIT Award In Front Of A Portrait Of Meghan Markle

Beyonce and Jay-Z chose to honour none other than Meghan Markle while accepting a BRIT Award.

The couple picked up the award for Best International Group, and although they weren’t there in person they sent through a thank you video.

The clip sees the pair standing in front of a painting of the Duchess of Sussex, before turning and addressing the camera. Take a look:

Beyonce referred to Meghan as “one of our Melanated Monas” in an Instagram post.

Beyonce wrote, “Thank you to the Brits for the award for Best International Group. I won this award back in 2002 with my besties, Kelly and Michelle. How lucky am I to have been in a group with my other best friend, the GOAT Hova.  In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.” 

Meghan is currently in New York for her baby shower – so maybe she’ll be able to acknowledge this tribute in person?
