14 Year Old Targeted in Vicious CBD Attack

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the vicious attack of a 14 year old girl in the Bendigo CBD.

The teenager was attacked in broad daylight last week on Mitchell Street at the bus stop near Hargreaves Street around 3:40 PM.

The Bendigo Advertiser reports she and her boyfriend were approached by a group, mainly made up of girls. One of the females is believed to have been filming as the girl was punched and kicked.

Police believe members of the public saw the incident and are appealing for them to come forward and report information to Crime Stoppers or Bendigo Police Station.
