Australians Are Outraged Over McDonald’s Canada’s Take Of An ‘Aussie Burger’

There aren’t too many things that get us Aussies upset… HAHAA who are we kidding… lots of things do, but this one is valid!

A NEW “Aussie” burger has been introduced to McDonald’s restaurants in Canada… and well, it hasn’t gone too well.

It is called the “Aussie BBQ and Egg” burger and is filled with 100 per cent Canadian beef, eggs, beet chips, processed cheese, lettuce and barbecue sauce.

Ummm NO!

That is not Australian… where is the real beetroot? Where is the pineapple?

The new promotion is part of their “World Taste Tour” promotion and sadly, we aren’t digging it.

Naturally, us Aussies have taken to the Internet to share our disgust.

One Reddit user saying, "So, the only Aussie (thing) about is the BBQ sauce?”, another stating, “It bears no resemblance to any burger I’ve ever seen in Australia. I’ve seen it here in Canada & don’t understand how Maccas came up with the name.”
