Are there any?

We're all obsessed with Married At First Sight at the moment, but how real are these relationships that we're seeing on screen? Do these people ever actually stay together?

We've done some stalking and discovered which reality TV couples from past Aussie shows are still together - and it's not a long list.

Note: We’re going to leave the obvious Bachelor couples off this list. From Anna & Tim in season one to Ali and Tate in the most recent Bachelorette season, their lasting relationships are all pretty well documented in the media, with babies and weddings included! We’re also not including people who went into shows like The Block and My Kitchen Rules as couples.

Erin and Bryce - Married At First Sight

There is exactly one MAFS couple still together after six seasons of the show, not counting those that might last from this year. Erin and Bryce from season two. According to recent tabloid coverage, they recently moved house together! Zoe and Alex from season one had a baby together, but have since separated.

Sam and Mark - Survivor

An island where you are wearing the same clothes every day, barely eating and don't have access to a toothbrush isn't the most romantic setting for a new relationship. But that didn't stop Sam and Mark from Australian Survivor's 2017 season! The pair formed an alliance on the island that still exists to this day - because they have a baby together! Another Survivor couple, Lee and El, recently separated.

Jarrod and Keira - Bachelor In Paradise

The most unlikely couple from Bachelor In Paradise had to be stage five clinger Jarrod and ultimate villain Keira. Despite a break up in late 2018, these two are stronger than ever.

Megan and Jake - Bachelor In Paradise

They didn't make it to the final episode, and they also had a short break up in 2018 - but Megan and Jake from BiP are still together! Guess all that drama in the show was worth it.

Millie and Mark - Love Island

If you were weirdly obsessed with Love Island, then you will be pleased to know that despite the final two couples breaking up some people actually did find love. Example one - Millie and Mark, who got together in the final weeks of the show.

Josh and Amelia - Love Island

Our second Love Island couple is Josh and Amelia! These two are still living their best lives as a couple. Also worth noting: Tayla and Dom got together after the series finished up, and Mac is now dating Apollo from the Bachelor franchise.

Outback Jack - Vadim and Natalie

OK please cast your minds back to 2004, when a show called Outback Jack hit our screens. It technically wasn't an Australian production but it was filmed in Australia and featured an Aussie lead - Jack, who was really named Vadim. He was presented as some kind of hot Steve Irwin/Crocodile Dundee type outback man (but he was really from Melbourne), and at the end he fell in love with an American girl called Natalie. AND THEY ARE STILL TOGETHER! They have three children! This is the real deal!

Farmer Wants A Wife

Here's the thing with farmers. They don't maintain active public social media profiles where they try to get sponsorship deals. However, here's what we could find out about some of the couples from one of Australia's most successful dating reality shows.

Brad and Stacie from season four (2009) are now married and have three children. Scott and Clare from the same season are also married. Tenille and Frank from season seven (2011) are married and have one child. Sam and Jodie from season eight (2012) are married and have one child. That's a pretty good success rate!

Rachael Finch and Michael Miziner - Dancing With The Stars

Yep, even DWTS has brought us some romance! Rachael Finch fell in love with her dance partner Michael Miziner while appearing on the show. The pair married in 2013 and have two children together.

Cat and Lawson - Big Brother

Added due to popular demand - Cat and Lawson from the final ever season of Big Brother! These two had a dramatic start to their relationship, falling in love in the BB house even though Lawson had a girlfriend on the outside. Seems like they've definitely moved past that.
