Avocado is a gift from heaven and is one of our go-to options for a great snack or addition to our meals. 

Considering how much we love them, you’d think we would know all we could about the tasty fruit… but, dun dun DUNNNN: we’ve been cutting it the wrong way. 

^^^ This method ain’t the best one^^^

Now ‘wrong’ might be too harsh of a word, because everyone does things differently. 

But if you want to get the best use out of your avo, then you need to be cutting and slicing the right way!

So, here’s how we should all be slicing it for maximum spreadability!

  1. Pick up your avo and grab a knife. 
  2. Don’t slice the avo lengthwise. Instead, cut it crosswise (horizontally) in half, all the way ‘round the seed. 
  3. Gently squeeze out the seed left in one of the halves. 
  4. Peel all the skin away. 
  5. As you’ve made the switch from vertical to horizontal-cutting, you can now slice to avocado to end up with thick, beautiful rings. 
  6. Add the avo to whatever tickles your fancy and voila!

We will definitely be trying this!
