Arrest Over Young Father's Murder

A man's handed himself into police over the grisly death of Lake Macquarie father Wade Still.

The 35 year old was arrested at Belmont Police Station yesterday and charged with murder.

He'll face Newcastle Local Court today.

It's claimed he knew Mr Still, who was found suffering horrific burns on the side of Oakdale Road at Whitebridge early Monday morning.

Detectives suspect the 23 year old was deliberately set on fire and left for dead.

He died while being flown to Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital.
